Title V Permits - Periodic Monitoring to CAM

Code: 135840

Join us for a live, interactive audio + web conference on

Tuesday, January 30, 2007, 2:00-4:00 p.m. Eastern  (11:00 a.m. PST)

All you need is a phone line and an Internet connection to participate!

*       You are an Environmental, Health, and Safety staff person responsible for air quality permitting for your company.  Your Title V permit is due for renewal and, word has it, you are required to submit a “Compliance Assurance Monitoring” or CAM plan with your permit renewal application.

*       What is a CAM plan?

*       When is it due?

*       What are the requirements?

*       What does one look like?

*       How does CAM relate to existing Title V monitoring requirements?

*       You are an air pollution control agency employee writing operating permits.  You have to evaluate the permit renewal applications and CAM plans.

*       How are CAM plans to be incorporated into an operating permit?

*       Is guidance available for approvals?

*       Are examples of approvable CAM plans available?

*       How do CAM plans differ from the other emission monitoring activities performed by permittees?

*       What do you have to do about periodic monitoring?

Find out the answers to these and other questions during the Air & Waste Management Association's Audio + Web Conference on January 30, 2007 at 2:00 ET when experts discuss air permit monitoring requirements and issues.

Panelists include:

·         Peter Westlin, USEPA, Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards, Measurement Policy Group

·         Barrett Parker, USEPA, Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards, Measurement Policy Group

·         Michael Palazzolo, Manager Air Services, Alcoa, Inc.
